We may have some saxophone at this one... woo hoo. The photos from the last one came out really well and are all over facebook. 24th Jan 2011 - The frist gig on 2011 was a cracker. We welcomed new bassist Wil Mullen to the group (borrowed from Jezzebelle). Jason Fallon was rock solid on the drums together with Anja and Kasia on Piano and Violins. We were delighted to welcome Salvatore back but Barry wasn't able to make it, as his wife went into labour. Thanks again to Michael Cooney. 7th May 2008 - My Friends, It's with a heavy heart I write to tell you that one of my favourite musicians passed away today. John Earle. He was very sick the last time I saw him, but I'm very proud that he played his Sax for me on the album I did with the KB band in 2004 and on my new album No One Wants to Move. I've put some photos up on my myspace page. He will be sorely missed. He had a gift... and a magic when he played. The list of people he played with is very long indeed. It includes Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Katriona and the Waves, the Boomtown rats, Thin Lizzy, Ian Dury, Shakin Stephens, and lots more. He gave me his diary to read through once when we were a having dinner. The list went on for pages. 6th April 2008 - A new review of "No One Wants to Move" in this months State magazine is now up in the Press section. It's a mixed review, not all good. Peter Grogan played it on his show "It's all about the song" on Near FM on Monday night and again on Wednesday on Dublin City FM (formerly Anna Livia). Here we go. 17th February 2008 - The Fingal Independent dedicated almost half a page to Keith and his new album. It looks like there'll be standing room only at the EP launch. 14th February 2008 - Sincere thanks to Pam Hamilton and Tony Fenton from Today FM. They played "No One Wants to Move" today and made it their daily download. The track won't be available until the release of the EP- Time on Your Hands on 1st March in Bewley's Theatre. See you at the concert. 9th February - The first bit of airplay on national radio came last night as Newstalk's Kara Hanahoe played Piazza Spagna on her show "The meaning of music". I'll be playing at home in the Skerries Mills on Sunday 17th June at midday. Free admission as usual. I'm really happy with how recording is going for the new album. I'm aiming to have it ready for release in the summer time. In the mean time there are demos in the music section. Many thanks to everyone for the comments so far. There have been some really useful suggestions. 5th Nov 2006 - !! New Guestbook added in the Contact area !! 15th October 2006 - I'll be playing in the Skerries Mills at midday. It's an afternoon music feature and it's free. I'll be trying out some of the new material I'm working on for my solo project. (Get the 10:50am train from Tara if you're coming from town) 6th July 2006 - One of my favourite nights in the city is the singers night in Devitt's on Camden St. It is run by Martin Black (brother of the well known Black sisters). There is a wide variety of talent and everyone accompaies everyone else. I go any Thursday I can make it. 4th July 2006 - I spent the evening at the songwriting night in the Bankers, just off Dame Street. It's run by Dave Murphy. It's a quiet night, but the standard is genuinely high and it's lovely to hear other peoples work. 30th May 2006 - I received late word that we had a slot in the Ruby sessions. So it was a last minuite gig, but a great night as always. Thanks to all who came. April 2006 - The KB band are taking a break.The reason being Adam is travelling to South Africa to do some Social Work and Ian will be in the US for the summer months. We'll resume in the Autumn.
